Born on the Osage Plains of central Oklahoma and based in Atlanta and New York City, I am an artist, performer, and facilitator whose work moves through the intersections of dance, film, and textiles and explores paradoxes such as grief + joy, pleasure + devastation. Through improvisation, composed ritual, and a queer lens, I investigate how trauma imprints itself on the body and how movement can become a site of transformation and healing.
My research centers on human longing—for beauty, poetics, validation, connection—and on the ways these desires shape our collective and individual experience. By nurturing creative impulse and exploring the subtle gestures of everyday interaction, my work invites reflection on how we construct our worlds through language and body memory.
My work is influenced by many artists I have had the pleasure of working with, including George Staib (staibdance company artist 2013-2024), T Lang (T Lang Dance company artist 2013-2015), and researching with, especially Rosie Herrera, Kristin O’Neal, Jenn Nugent and many other artists that helped opened the path before me.
As a movement facilitator, I find great joy in holding space for others to connect with their bodies. I completed my 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification in Pranakriya Yoga (2014) under the instruction and guidance of Yoganand Michael Carroll E-RYT 500, and Marlysa Sullivan MPT, C-IAYT E-RYT 500, and have additionally trained in Yin Yoga (2016) with Douglas Johnson E-RYT 500, YACEP, and Trauma Informed Yoga (2017) with Holle Black C-IAYT, E-RYT 500. I received my 500hr Yoga Alliance certification (2022) from Tough Love Yoga under the guidance of Neda Draupadi Honarvar E-RYT 500, YACEP. I have been leading yoga classes to the public since 2015, and facilitating trauma informed yoga with incarcerated youth through non-profit Centering Youth since 2017.
As a Dance Church® instructor, I have been guiding all levels movement classes designed for every-body since 2023 in both Atlanta and NYC.
