Born on the Osage Plains of central Oklahoma and based in Atlanta and New York City, I am an artist, performer, and facilitator whose work moves through the intersections of dance, film, and textiles and explores paradoxes such as grief + joy, pleasure + devastation. Through improvisation, composed ritual, and a queer lens, I investigates how trauma imprints itself on the body and how movement can become a site of transformation and healing.
My research centers on human longing—for beauty, poetics, validation, and connection—and on the ways these desires shape our collective and individual experience. By nurturing creative impulse and exploring the subtle gestures of everyday interaction, my work invites reflection on how we construct our worlds through language and body memory.
My work is influenced by work with George Staib (staibdance company artist 2013-2024), research with Rosie Herrera, and many other inspiring artists that opened the path before and with me.
