Sheltered in Place - collaboration with visual artist Sara Santamaria

Presented at DriveThru ATL curated by The Creatives Project 2020

Drive Thru ATL presented by The Creatives Project, is an experimental exhibition responding to a global pandemic while navigating life at the epicenter of the Black Live Matters protests, riots and police-inflicted violence.

The drive thru gallery experience provides viewers with a safe platform to experience art in person while practicing social distancing.

Sheltered in Place is a performative installation in response to Covid 19.

The installation consists of a small apartment layout painted on the ground with suggested walls. A see-through house that people can drive around to. The performances inside convey the emotional and physical spectrum of daily life confinement in a domestic space.
